Registration

Please click on the link below and scroll down to the blue boxes.  We will close registration on 31st March to allow our Grade Managers time to put teams together. The Junior and Youth season begins 27th April.

What happens once my player is registered? 

Our grade managers will be working behind the scenes putting teams together.  Each team will need a coach (or two!) and a manager (10th Grade and above). First kicks, 6th, 7th, 8th or 9th Grade teams will need one or two coaches per team.  Please contact your Grade manager if you are able to help.  We hope to have all our teams up on our website by early April.

What time are my players games?

Centennial Park First Kicks and 6th Grade  9.30 am   10 - 12 players per team

Somerfield First Kicks  10.30 am

Centennial Park 7th Grade  10.50 am  8 players per team

Centennial Park 8th Grade  10.00 am  8 player per team

Centennial Park 9th Grade  8.30 am  8 players per team

 CTFC Development Academy

The CTFC Academy is for any keen players who want to improve as footballers! You will be coached each week by highly qualified professional coaches on the best grass pitches in Christchurch at Garrick Park.  Sessions are for players 7th Grade (Year of birth 2016) and up to and including 17th Grade (Year of birth 2004).

2024 Season

Our Junior and Youth season begins on 27/04/24 and will end on or before the weekend of 07/09/24.  For all Junior and Youth teams (First Kicks up to 19th grade) there is no football 13/07/24.  There is full competition information on the Mainland Website here

Other Senior teams - Men

We have teams in various Divisions in the Mainland Competition, as well as Masters teams (over 35, over 45 and over 50).  If you are a senior player keen to join us please pop your details here.

Supporters Club

Our Supporters Club welcome new members.  If you are keen to follow our teams and join the Supporters Club, ,membership is $50, which also includes your Woolston Club membership.  Please contact lisay@ctfc.co.nz for more details.

Coaching Courses

All our coaches / game leaders and team managers are volunteers.  Please consider coaching if you are able and keen, or managing a team if you have those skills.

Coach development is a vital part of our Club.   We offer New Zealand Football accredited coaching courses free of charge to our club coaches.  Full details of these courses are below"

Garbhan and Lyle are running the following courses at Garrick Park. 

  • Junior Level 1 Monday 29 April (6pm - 9.30 pm)
  • Youth Level 1 Wednesday 1 May  (6pm till 9.30 pm)
  • IJC (Intro to Junior Coaching)  Wednesday 24th April (6.00 - 8.00 pm)
  • Junior Level 2 Sunday 28th July (9am – 4.00 pm)
  • Youth Level 2 Sunday 4th August (9am – 4.00 pm)

Referee

From 10th Grade and above, and there is a Mainland requirement that games are refereed.  Mainland run some excellent referee courses to please support your team by attending.  The CBR (Community based referee) course can now be completed online and is a great way to learn about the game.

If you can not coach your players team then this is a great way to support your player.

 All Div 1 teams (13th Grade and up) must have a referee who has attended this course.
