First Kicks Football

 4 - 6 YEARS



We offer two First Kicks Programmes for players ages 4 to 6 years old. CTFC's in-house programme takes place at Centennial Park and another at Somerfield School, both on Saturday mornings. The Somerfield School programme is exclusively for students of Somerfield School, while our Centennial Park in-house First Kicks and Junior programme is open to everyone else from Grades 4-9.


Our First Kicks In-House Programme

At Cashmere Technical FC, we align our junior programmes with New Zealand Football’s Junior Framework, focusing on structured player development, enjoyment, and long-term engagement in the sport. Our goal is to create an inclusive, fun, and structured environment where young players develop a love for football while building key skills at every stage.

CENTENNIAL PARK COMPETITION 2025

  • Cancellations

    Cancellations for Cashmere Technical First Kicks will be posted on our noticeboard and Facebook. Since this competition is managed by our Club and not by Mainland Football, Mainland Football cancellations do not affect our games.

  • Grade Manager

    If you have any further questions about the Cashmere Technical First Kicks, please contact our Grade Manager.

  • Game day leaders

    Parental involvement is crucial in First Kicks, with each team needing at least two game day leaders. We provide free training and support for all our coaches and game day leaders, so be ready to help! Register your interest to be Game Day Leader here.
