Our Story

the south island's premier football club

With over 1,750 players, Cashmere Technical stands as the premier football club in the South Island. Our dedicated volunteers and a proactive Board ensure that we remain at the forefront of regional and national football discussions, contributing valuable insights and feedback.

The club was formed in early 2012 from the merger of two of the city's premier clubs, Cashmere Wanderers and Christchurch Technical.


Located at Garrick Park next to the Woolston Club premises, we have members from across the whole of Christchurch. Our High Performance teams lead the way with both men and women's first teams competing at the highest level and our youth and junior programmes are ensure that the transition from community football to high performance is a smooth one.

Supporters Club

Be part of the excitement and join the Cashmere Technical FC Supporters Club!

How the Supporters Club Works

Our Supporters Club invites fans to contribute $2 for every goal scored by the Men’s MPL team over a 4-week period. At the end of each period, we host a lucky draw for everyone who is up to date with their contributions.


Prize: The lucky winner takes home half the funds collected from that 4-week period.


Clubhouse Draw: To claim the prize, you must be present at the clubrooms on the draw day.


Ongoing Fun: If you miss a period, don’t worry! You can join the next 4-week cycle and stay engaged all season.


Season-End Celebration

At the end of the season, all Supporters Club members are invited to a special event to celebrate the season and connect with other fans.
