    The Junior Level One Coaching Award is for coaches working with 9 – 13 year old players and provides a great introduction to skill development. The course focuses on understanding the specific needs of this age group, how to build fun and inclusive environments and how to develop players skills through fun activities and games

    The Junior level 2 coaching course is designed for coaches working with young players typically between the ages of 7-12 years old, focusing on developing foundational skills and understanding the specific needs of this age group in a grassroots football setting; it provides a deeper level of knowledge compared to a Level 1 coaching course, allowing coaches to effectively plan and deliver age-appropriate training sessions.

  • Junior Football is aimed at players aged 4-12 years old

    The McDonald’s Junior Framework provides a consistent, coordinated national approach to the development of junior players. Its main aim is to provide all junior players with high quality football experiences that increase both skill levels and the passion for playing football.


    Through the McDonald’s Junior Framework players will experience age appropriate football games and coaching in a programme that is specifically tailored to meet their football wants and needs.

  • Youth Football is aimed at players aged 13-19 years old

    The Youth Framework provides a clear, coordinated national approach to the development of youth players aged 13-19 years. Its main aim is to provide all youth players, regardless of their ability, with high quality experiences in order to retain them in or attract them to the game.


    The Youth Framework provides clear pathways for players ensuring that young footballers can access opportunities to play at an appropriate level.

Administration & Finance Officer 

CTFC is on the lookout for a detail-savvy and organised Administration & Finance Officer to join our awesome team!


This role is permanent 25 hours per week and vital to keeping the Club running smoothly behind the scenes — helping with day-to-day admin and making sure our finances stay in top shape. If you're confident with Xero, love working with people, and want to support grassroots football, we want to hear from you!


Key tasks include:

  • General club admin
  • Invoicing, bank payments & Xero reconciliations
  • Managing player registrations (Comet & Friendly)
  • Processing refunds, payments & expenses
  • Supporting with grants & budgeting
  • Month-end financial reports for the Board



We're looking for someone who is:
✔️ Experienced with Xero
✔️ Super organised and proactive
✔️ Great with people of all ages
✔️ Able to work independently
✔️ Eligible to work in NZ
