Academy Team Head Coach

Cashmere Tech is looking for an Academy Team head coach for the 2024 season. The club is looking for an energetic, passionate coach who see's player development as a driving factor in their coaching. The ideal candidate has spent time in a Club Talent Program previously and is experienced within the NZF talent space. 

Interested candidates must hold a current C-Licence as a minimum. 

This is a paid role.

Women's Reseves Team Head Coach 

Cashmere Tech is looking for a new coach to continue the great work and progress that this group has shown over the past couple of seasons and support our players in their ambition to play at the highest level they can.

The club is looking for a head coach who can work well with other coaches in the club including First Team Head Coach & Assistant Coaches and U16 Academy Coaches. The coach will have a passion for developing players and helping our Reserve players to reach their maximum potential. 

The Women’s Reserve team feeds directly into the current Cashmere Technical FC First team that plays in the Women’s Premier League so many of the players within the Reserve team will develop and grow into Premier League players with the right coach.

Interested candidates must hold a current C-Licence as a minimum.

Men's Reserves Team Head Coach 

Cashmere Tech is looking for a coach to lead their very talented and hard-working Men’s Reserve Team in the New World Canterbury Premier League in 2024. 

Having been promoted from the Canterbury Men’s Division 1 during the 2022 season, and finishing 2nd in the CPL in the 2023 season. CTFC is looking for a new coach to continue the great work and progress that this group has shown over the past couple of seasons. 

CTFC are looking for a head coach who can work well with other coaches in the club including First Team Head Coach & Assistant Coaches and U17 Academy Coaches. The coach will have a passion for developing players and helping our Reserve players to reach their maximum potential. 

The CTFC Reserve team feeds directly into the current Cashmere Technical FC First team that plays in the New Zealand Men’s National League so many of the players within the Reserve team will develop and grow into National League players with the right coach.

Interested candidates must hold a current C-Licence as a minimum.

Football Development Officer

Position Title:        Football Development Officer

Reports To:           Director of Football 

Works with:           General Manager, High Performance subcommittee, Junior subcommittee other coaches and Club members

Position Purpose: The Football Development Officer is responsible for assisting with implementing and delivering the Club’s coach and player development programmes.

Key tasks and responsibilities (including but not limited to the following):

  • Coaching Academy team or coaching a senior High Performance team
  • Coaching Development Academy (Skill Centre)
  • Delivering Football in Schools programme.
  • Delivering holiday programmes and pre season trainings. 
  • Supporting and assisting the Director of Football, General Manager and other coaches and Club members as required
  • All other tasks and duties as may reasonably be required by the Employer.

Person specification 

  • Skilled and experienced football coach with C licence at a minimum
  • Energetic and passionate football coach with a NZF Junior Level 3
  • Eligibility to work in New Zealand
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to relate well to a wide and diverse range of people and ages
  • A well organised self-starter, with the ability to work autonomously
  • Collaborative working style
