Junior
Our Junior Fun Football programme for ages 10-13 focuses on small-sided games, allowing players to develop their skills while having fun and exploring their creativity. With an emphasis on learning over winning, our inclusive approach encourages confidence and growth, including dedicated "Girls Only" teams to support young female players.

Youth
Cashmere Tech FC’s Youth Football programme offers players aged 14 and above the opportunity to develop their skills and teamwork in a structured, competitive environment. Our teams compete in Mainland Football’s city-wide competition, running from April to September. Our focus is on technical skills, tactical awareness, and sportsmanship. Players experience different positions, enjoy fair playing time, and grow their football intelligence, all in a fun, supportive setting. Whether new to the game or advancing in their development, our Youth teams provide the perfect environment for growth.
the pinnacle of player development
ACADEMY TEAMS
The Cashmere Technical FC Academy provides an elite pathway for young footballers, offering structured training, professional coaching, and opportunities for personal and athletic development. Our Academy Teams represent the top tier of player development at Cashmere Tech. These teams compete in the Canterbury Development Leagues, and 80-90% of our Academy players come through the Development Academy.
driving for success
Women
Cashmere Technical FC offers the most comprehensive women’s and girls’ football pathway on the South Island. We provide our players with the resources, support, and opportunities they need to grow as confident, well-rounded footballers. Importantly, we give players the freedom to choose the environment that suits them best: they can join girls-only teams and training, participate in mixed (male-dominated) teams, or switch between them depending on their goals, development, and preferences.
Our Women’s First Team dominates the South Island League, reigning as the 2025 Reta Fitzpatrick Cup Champions and a history of winning leagues and cups. With a strong community focus, they mentor and coach younger players, fostering the next generation of talent. Alongside them, the Women’s Reserve Team competes in the Canterbury Women’s Premiership, providing a crucial pathway for academy graduates aspiring to join the First Team.
