  • Applicable and Practical
  • Lifelong Learning
  • Flexible
  • Player Centred
  • Appropriate for New Zealand environment
  • Linked to NZF Playing Style

Here is the club run Community Coaching Courses coming up for the 2024 season:

Girls & Womens Referee Workshop

When:     Tuesday 25th June 2024
Where:    English Park
Time:       6-8.30pm
Cost:       FREE

Have you ever considered becoming a referee? It’s an often-overlooked pathway by players & coaches, particularly women and girls – but that’s beginning to change.

Come along to English Park, find out what its like to be a referee, learn some of the new rules and have a go with a flag or whistle.

Refereeing is a brilliant way to stay involved in our game. It teaches you leadership skills, the ability to communicate with influence and keeps you fit. Better yet, it offers rewarding opportunities and has the potential to open pathways to an exciting long-term career.

We also strongly encourage current and former female referees to attend as there will be great insights from experienced referees and the opportunity to learn from some of the best in a fun and social atmosphere.

The evening’s key focus areas will be:

  • The referee pathway & opportunities
  • Basic rules and football understanding

By attending you will complete the required learning for the NZF Community Referee Qualification

The event is totally FREE , please register below
