Net Roster Duties

To ensure smooth match days, teams are assigned specific net and corner flag duties. Please check the net roster regularly to confirm your duties.


What to Check:

  • Net size required
  • Corner posts needed (CFP = Corner Flag Posts x 4)
  • Whether to return or leave the net for the next game

Key Reminders

  • Return all equipment to the correct pavilion or lockbox after your game.
  • Contact the grounds coordinator for any issues or booking adjustments.

  • Addington Park:

    • CTFC 15 Blue: Set up senior nets/CFPs (pickup from Centennial Pavilion) – leave up for the 12:30 PM game
    • CTFC 17 Black: Take down and return nets/CFPs to Centennial Pavilion

  • Beckenham Park:

    • CFPs: Permanent nets are already up.
    • Setup/Takedown: CTFC 14 Blue – Place CFPs on S1; key from lockbox (#2832) and return after the game.

  • Hagley Park Hospital Corner S1:

    • CTFC 14 Development: Set up senior nets/CFPs (pickup from Centennial Pavilion)
    • CTFC 17 Silver: Take down and return nets/CFPs to Centennial Pavilion

  • Hagley Park Hospital Corner S2:

    • Setup: CTFC 13 White – Senior nets/CFPs (pickup from Centennial Pavilion, #2468).
    • Takedown: CTFC 19 Red – Return nets/CFPs to Centennial Pavilion.

  • Centennial Park:

    • Setup: CTFC 17 White – Nets/CFPs (key from lockbox #2468).
    • Takedown: CTFC Avengers – Return keys to lockbox and tidy the pavilion after use.

  • English Park:

    CTFC Canaries - n/a (permanent nets at ground)

  • Garrick Memorial Park S1:


    CTFC Pele's Children - CFPs up/down (Pavilion)


  • Halswell Domain:

    CTFC Girls 14 Blue - n/a (nets at ground)

  • Lancaster Park:

    • CFPs: Permanent nets are already up.
    • Setup/Takedown: CTFC 17 Development – Pickup CFPs from Centennial Pavilion (#2468) and return after use.

  • Nga Puna Wai:

    • CTFC 15 Gold: Set up CFPs on S1
    • CTFC 17 Green: Take down and return CFPs to Centennial Pavilion
    • CTFC 14 Red: Set up CFPs on S2
    • CTFC 17 Blue: Take down and return CFPs

  • Spreydon Domain:

    • Setup/Takedown: CTFC 16 Girls Gold – Senior nets/CFPs (from Spreydon Pavilion, #2832).
    • Return: Keys to lockbox (#2832).

Garrick Park (Home of CTFC)

Garrick Park has undergone significant upgrades following damage from the Canterbury earthquakes. This transformation includes:


  1. Two full-sized, sand-based pitches with a dedicated training area
  2. Complete drainage system with novaflow and sand-slit improvements
  3. Automated sprinkler system for efficient field maintenance
  4. New lighting towers for winter training
  5. Modern sports pavilion with enhanced player facilities


The upgraded facilities debuted as a training site for the FIFA U20 World Cup and will continue to serve the club and community year-round.

Whittington Avenue: Redevelopment in progress to restore it as a top playing surface, including drainage, floodlight relocation, and new changing rooms.


Somerfield Park: Enhanced changing facilities for player comfort.


Beckenham Park: In partnership with Southern Districts Cricket Club, we are planning pavilion repairs and potential floodlight installation to support training sessions.
