U13 - U17

mixed development Teams

Our Mixed Development Teams (U13-U17) operate over 40 weeks of the year, with professional coaching, sports science support from ARA, and access to top facilities at Garrick Park. The U17 Academy Team competes in the Boys Youth National League and offers opportunities for players to continue developing in the Youth Development League and at the Western Springs Tournament.


  • U13-U15 Development Teams: Year-round training and competitive play with a focus on long-term player development.
  • U17 Development Team: Competes in the Boys Youth National League with extended development opportunities.

u14 - u16

Girls development Teams

We are committed to growing the Girls and Women's game at Cashmere Technical. Our specialised girls’ programmes offer players the opportunity to develop their skills in a safe, supportive, and fun environment. The U14 and U16 Girls Development Teams follow our Talent Development Programme (TDP) structure and train twice a week with C-Licence coaches. These teams also benefit from strength and conditioning sessions, video analysis, and having referees provided for home games.


  • U14 Development: For players born in 2010 & 2011
  • U16 Development: For players born in 2008 & 2009


In addition, our Women’s First Team competes at a high level in the South Island League, and our Women’s Reserve Team serves as a key development pathway for Development graduates striving for First Team selection.
